Why Real Christmas Trees Make the Holidays Magical
The Christmas season has officially begun!
There’s something about a real Christmas tree that instantly makes a home feel warm, festive, and alive. The fresh pine scent, the classic look of twinkling lights on deep green branches, and the nostalgia of holiday traditions all combine to create a magic no artificial tree can match. We’re proud to bring this experience straight to your home with fresh, sustainably grown Christmas trees.
Our Christmas trees are grown with care and planted rather than cut down. That means each tree continues to thrive and contribute to the environment even after the holidays. You’re not just bringing home a festive centerpiece—you’re supporting a living, sustainable cycle that gives back to the planet year after year.
Real Trees Are Good for the Planet
Whilst there are some very good artificial trees about, they aren’t a patch on a real one. Not to mention the benefits to the planet a real tree can offer.
Sustainably Grown: Tree farms plant new trees every year, keeping the cycle healthy and green.
Carbon Absorption: While growing, trees remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, helping the environment.
Give a real tree a go - you wont be disappointed.

Tree Spade Season has begun!
The rustle of autumn leaves signals not just a change in weather, but the official beginning of tree spade season. Here at Civic Trees operations are now in full swing, and our specialised equipment is already hard at work making big moves.
Over the last few weeks, our powerful 2-meter tree spade has been exceptionally busy. This vital piece of machinery allows us to successfully transplant large, mature trees.. Whether it's relocating a significant ornamental tree within a property or moving trees for new development projects, the 2m spade ensures a smooth, efficient, and successful move, preserving the landscape's established beauty and ecological value.
The cooler months, especially after the trees have lost their leaves and entered dormancy, are the ideal time for tree transplanting. During this dormant phase:
Reduced Stress: The tree's metabolic activity is low, minimizing the shock and stress of root disturbance.
Root Establishment: Cooler soil temperatures encourage root growth without the pressure of supporting a full canopy of leaves, allowing the tree to focus its energy on establishing itself in its new location before spring growth begins.
Moisture Availability: Winter rains and snow help keep the root ball moist, which is crucial for survival.
Thinking of adding immediate impact to your landscape with a mature tree or needing to move an existing one? Contact us today to discuss your project. Our team is ready to assess the site, the tree's health, and determine the optimal approach using our high-capacity tree spades.
Don't wait—the tree spade season is busy, and spaces fill up fast!
