Supply Civic Trees has been working with the leading producers of large trees and the benefits of these relationships are passed on to customers through quality, choice and value. This extensive range of suppliers allows Civic Trees to source and collate a wide variety of trees, covering the most extensive enquiries. With rare exceptions, all the trees supplied are purpose grown in specialist nurseries. The trees are supplied either as 'rootballed' specimens or 'container grown' – it is not advisable to supply semi-mature trees 'bare root'. Rootballed specimens are grown in the field until they are lifted for transplanting. The soil in which they were growing is left intact around the roots, and this rootball is then encased in hessian and a wire basket to keep it secure. These biodegadable materials are left on when replanting the trees. Containerised trees are grown and supplied in containers. These trees are available for planting all year round. They are removed from their containers when they are planted. Civic Trees can either arrange for trees to be delivered direct to site, or delivered to our nursery for holding and collection, or for delivery as part loads when required.
