CONTRACT WIN FOR GLENDALE AT SURREY HEATH
Glendale has been successful in securing the Grounds Maintenance Contract on behalf of Surrey Heath Borough Council. The new contract award is c£450k pa, the contract had previously been held by Veolia. With a vast 25 years of experience in parks management, grounds management is one of Glendale’s core activities. The company continues to achieve growth during the economic downturn in the grounds management sector by focusing on its core activities, utilising the knowledge and experience within grounds management teams. The agreement will see Glendale working with Surrey Heath for the next five years.
Adrian Wickham, Regional Director, South East “Were really looking forward to working with Surrey Heath Council, early indications show that the contract will be a true partnership, one where our expertise can be used in improving Grounds Maintenance in parks and open spaces, whilst giving Surrey Heath best value and innovation by accessing our suite of green businesses”.
Cllr Craig Fennel, Surrey Heath Borough Councillor and Portfolio Holder for Green Space, said “When selecting a company to take on the maintenance of our award winning parks and green space we were looking for a combination of high quality and best value. On both counts Glendale were the obvious choice and I am looking forward to a rewarding working relationship with them".
